Year 5

Our new topic for Spring 2 is ‘Gizmos and Gadgets’ where children will be learning about the spies of World War II, especially those linked to our local area of Woolwich. They will be learning about how codebreaking changed the war, with a specific focus on the Woolwich Spy Gang, Noor Inayat Khan, a female spy, and how our local area changed during and after World War II.

In PE, children will be improving their teamwork skills in Outdoor Adventurous Activities and will be improving their gymnastic skills.

In Science, children will be refining their investigative skills and conducting a range of investigations linked to  materials and their properties.
