Parent Forums

At Bannockburn we know that feedback is one of the most powerful influences on learning and achievement. We apply this philosophy not only in our daily teaching and learning but also in our relationships with parents and other stakeholders. We are constantly seeking parent feedback in order to help us know what we are doing well and where we can make improvements.

Each term we hold a parent forum where we discuss key themes that parents have identified as areas that would benefit from a focus in our school. The forum takes place on alternate sites (Manor Way or High Street) but parents from both sites are always welcome.

The forums are advertised in our school weekly newsletter, on our website and via our text messaging service. We generally hold the meetings in the evening and we provide a crèche for those parents needing childcare. Parents are welcome to attend any parent forum and if you cannot make the forum we add the minutes to this section of the website for you read and comment on.

If you would like to suggest future themes for the forum or if you miss a forum and would like to add your suggestions then please contact us.
