Year 5

Our new topic for Autumn 2 is ‘Journeys’ where children will be exploring journeys they make themselves (around their local area) and journeys made by other people (like Ahmet from our class novel, The Boy at the Back of the Class). 

In PE, children will be learning how to play Tag Rugby and will be improving their goalball skills. 

In Science, children will be learning about animals including humans, particularly life cycles and gestation periods. In Week 3, children will be learning about the physical changes a human goes through during adolescence (puberty). If you want more information about this, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
